We believe in the power of creativity to make a difference to the lives of individuals.
We deliver creative workshops and activities for the beneficiaries of local charities in Hackney. This work is subsidised by our commercial activity and free of charge for the participants involved.
Akwaaba - A Sunday social club for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.
Akwaaba is a social centre for migrants in Hackney offering a space for rest, play, learning and support. We’ve provided multiple arts and crafts workshops for their visitors including activities for their annual summer party.
Spitalfields Crypt Trust - An addiction and homelessness recovery centre.
Operating since 1965, SCT helps people to transform their lives following addiction and homelessness. We worked with Choices, their post-addiction support group, to provide monthly creative workshops for their community.
City & Hackney Carers Centre - An independent charity supporting carers.
City & Hackney Carers Centre passionately supports the practical and emotional needs of unpaid carers. We’ve taken multiple workshops to the centre including our Herbal Wellbeing class which is always very popular amongst the visitors.
Want to know how this helps the participants? We asked them..
